The Bachelor of Biology Education Program (BBED) is one of the study programs at the Faculty of Education and Teacher Training (FETT) of Tidar University. FETT Tidar University (Untidar) has a vision of “becoming a Leading Faculty of Teacher Training and Education in the Field of Entrepreneurship Based on Resources and Local Wisdom”. FETT Untidar aims to: (1) Produce professional educators who excel in the field of entrepreneurship based on resources and local wisdom; (2) Produce innovative educational works to solve educational problems that are oriented developing towards an entrepreneurial spirit in the educational process; (3) Produce superior services to the community to solve educational problems and develop entrepreneurship based on resources and local wisdom; and (4) Produce credible, transparent, accountable, responsible, and fair governance. In accordance with the vision of FETT, the scientific vision of the Bachelor of Biology Education Program is ” Becoming a Leading Developer of Biology Education Innovation in the Field of Entrepreneurship Based on Resources and Local Wisdom “. The Bachelor of Biology Education Program of Untidar has the following objectives:
( 1) Producing competent, adaptive, and innovative biology education graduates who are able to compete in the 21st century (2) Producing graduates who are able to implement scientific methods to solve problems in their fields in everyday life (3) Producing graduates who have entrepreneurial values ​​based on local wisdom. Based on the description above, the graduate profiles produced by the Bachelor of Biology Education Program are: (1) Adaptive and innovative professional Biology Educators; (2) Innovative researchers in the field of Biology Education and able to publish; and (3) Entrepreneurs who are able to utilize Biology and education for entrepreneurship.
