WAV Beauty Reusable Cotton Pad: Biology Students’ Innovation in the Beauty Sector
The Biology Education student group has again innovated in the creative industry by creating a Cotton Pad product to support local beauty products. Chaired by Ade Rizky Berlian with a team of 4 students from the Biology Education Study Program, WAV Beauty Reusable Cotton Pad carries the mission of protecting the earth through environmentally friendly Cotton Pad products that can be used long term to reduce the impact of difficult-to-decompose waste. “Small Act of Loving You and Earth is our vision in creating this product, we hope to contribute to the earth even though it is small through beauty products,” explained Ade.
WAV Beauty Reusable Cotton Pad has successfully obtained funding from the Student Entrepreneurship Development Program (P2MW) organized by the Directorate of Learning and Student Affairs (Belmawa) and the Directorate General of Higher Education, Research and Technology. In addition, this team has also won another proud achievement, namely the 2024 Untidar EKKN Health and Beauty Category 1st Place Award. “We will continue to strive to develop similar products which we hope will later become one of the motivations for the younger generation to dare to take small steps in protecting the earth and loving local products,” added Ade.
