Winner of 3rd place in the Opinion Writing Competition at the 2024 Borobudur Congress

Magelang – Two students from the Tidar University Biology Education Study Program, Fitria Alfiyah Hastuari, and Yuni Fatmawati, made a proud achievement. They won 3rd place in the Opinion Writing Competition at the 2024 Borobudur Congress. This event was part of the 22nd anniversary of the Ruwat Rawat Borobudur Community which focuses on preserving the culture and environment of the Borobudur Temple area.

This competition was attended by many participants from various universities, so it took a long struggle for Fitria and Yuni to achieve victory.

“We feel proud and grateful for this achievement, we would like to thank Dr. Setiyo Prajoko, who is a Biology Education Lecturer, has encouraged and motivated us to take part in this competition and also guided us throughout the opinion writing process until we finally won this competition.”

The 2024 Borobudur Congress is an important momentum in efforts to preserve Borobudur’s cultural and ecological heritage. It is hoped that Fitria and Yuni’s success in this event will further increase the awareness of the younger generation regarding the importance of their role in caring for historical heritage which has high value for the nation and the world.
