Efforts to Preserve Intangible Culture, Bu Jatem’s PMM Team Successfully Empowers the Community and Hands Over Herbal Medicine Production Tools

The Student Community Empowerment Program (PMM), organized by the Ministry of Education, Culture, Research, and Technology, focuses on community service carried out by students to empower the Tempurejo Village community. Bu Jatem’s PMM team, chaired by Dr. Setiyo Prajoko, successfully carried out a workshop and handed over herbal medicine production tools with the aim of increasing herbal medicine MSME products for the people of Tempurejo Village.

“Today, we are holding PMM workshops and activities with around 20 members, as well as the Toga conservation group, which we inaugurated today. The handover of these herbal medicine tools was necessary because, previously, people still extorted them manually. “We hope that the training that has been carried out can be applied in everyday life and that the tools provided will be useful,” explained Dr. Setiyo Prajoko.

The Bu Jatem PMM program aims to increase the economic value of Tempurejo Village herbal medicine UMKM products and foster a love for the cultural heritage of herbal medicine.
