Welcome to the Biology Education Study Program

The Biology Education Study Program is one of the study programs at the Faculty of Teacher Training and Education, Tidar University. The Biology Education Study Program aims to produce Biology Educators, Educator Assistants, and Entrepreneurs in Biology and Biology Education. To achieve this goal, the Biology Education Study Program has implemented a learning program based on the 2025 OBE-based curriculum. The curriculum used refers to KKNI, SN-Dikti, the Indonesian Biology Education Study Program Consortium (KPBI), and the Association of Indonesian Biology Educators and Researchers (HPPBI), input from stakeholders and tracer study networking, Tidar University Chancellor’s Regulation Number 5 of 2024 concerning Tidar University Academic Regulations, as well as 13 Subject Specific Criteria for Life Science from ASIIN.

As a step in quality assurance, the Biology Education Study Program has carried out an Internal Quality Audit (AMI), lecture monitoring every semester, and an external quality audit, which will be carried out by the Independent Education Accreditation Institute (Lamdik). The Biology Education Study Program ensures that it always follows the quality standards set by Tidar University. In 2021, the Biology Education Study Program received “Good” accreditation from the National Accreditation Board for Higher Education (BAN-PT).
